I just dled the carbonized version. The classic version works w/o a hitch, but i select the carbon one and it brings up the first menu monitor etc, i hit play or whatever it is, and it and it goes to black then comes back and quits

any ideas?

The work around is to disable the Options dialog box during startup.
1. Startup the game.
2. Check the box to disable the Options box.
3. Quit the game (it will crash)
4. Startup Starcraft again and enjoy.
