I've downloaded & installed the beta update of Q3A for OS X, but running the timedemo has me stumped.
I gather that the new demo is called something like "four.dm_66". I've tried all kinds of variations of this in the console (i.e. after "timedemo 1"), but I can't get it to load.
Also, in my Demos screen, I just have 001 and 002.
Can someone please explain what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Did you drag all of the map files and .pak files from the update into the baseq3 folder? If you have, then try to reinstall the game, or instead just drag the entire Q3 directory on the update onto your HD and drop the 'pak0.pak' into the baseq3 directory...I think that should work. If not, come on back and we'll take another hack at it.
