Well, for Quake 3, I really dig Excessive and CorkScrew.

For Unreal Tournament I like Enforcer Arena, Unreal4Ever (which is hands down, one helluva mod!), this Quake 3 mod which adds the physics of Q3 to UT, and ExcessiveArena.

I'm a big fan of Tactical Ops for UT. It's a lot like CounterStrike (the popular mod for Half Life that frickin Sierra never gave us...)

UT:

Favorite mods:
Decals stay and more gore. Decals stay lets you adjust the time that giblets and blood remain. You can even make it permanent, by the end of a match the arena is gory as hell! Only problem is that the game chugs to a halt on anything but a small level. I bet it would totally rock on a dual processor 800MHz G4.

More Gore lets you adjust the amount of giblets and blood that arise from a frag. At high settings it hilarious--there are more giblets than the mass of the bot you fragged. Combine this with decals stay, and you literally wade through the gore.

Akimboarena is a sweet weapons mod that enables you to hold and fire two weapons of any kind, like the double enforcer. That's some serious firepower when you've got two flak cannons or two shock rifles. It speeds up the fireing rate, just like with double enforcers.

Another cool mod is Tallyho. It pits you and the bots against monsters from unreal. It's pretty fun for awhile, but it does get a bit old, since all the monsters do is stand there and look mean.
