Like the subject says, worth it? It doesn't support Bots yet, so those of us on 56k may not enjoy it. Guess that's my real question.

I used to play q3f a lot on PeeCee. I think the only problem is the lack of a Mac Installer (at least there used to be just the one for Win9X).

If you play q3a over 56k you can play q3f, don't you?

Regards

EXACTLY. I like playing it on PCs, but I still can't figure out how in teh living (*&@#(*&(*@&#(*&!(*&(!@*&( *&!@ I'm supposed to install all this crap. Ok, install version one, then patch it with 1.5, then upgrade to 23.69, then add another patch, then throw the computer downt he stairs because it still DOESNT FREAKING WORK right...

>sigh<

Ca$h

Course, I only tried once too....but...come on. An installer would be HELLA nice.

From what I can gather, we Mackers do have to d/l and install each update in order. www.q3f.com does have instructions, maybe they've been updated?

Yah, I play a little on the 56k, but I got kicked so hard I've been playing the single player on Hardcore to improve. Lag doesn't help the situation either. I was hoping to play bots on these levels to get warmed up!
