thank god, i've been going thru wolf withdrawal...I started playing medal of honor, but the multiplayer isn't as good as wolf.

One thing, all of the Punkbuster stuff seems to have disappeared. When I originally updated to 1.32, I had the option to screen servers by whether they were using Punkbuster. Now that I've used this fix, that option seems to be gone. Anyone else notice this? Other than that, it seems to be working.

Also, what is the best way to go about getting the new maps that PC users got with their official version of 1.33? Any suggestions?

The GOTY Map Pack? Simple! Go to Activisions site and download the huge .exe-file and use Stuffit Expander on it. Place all the .pk3-files in Wolfenstein>Main

Yeah...I got brave about 10 minutes after I solicited verification.

It works...and yeah...the punkbuster stuff is MIA.

The GOTY maps are cool.

I spent all night on ID's MP_BASE server.

Thanks guys, for letting me get a fix...I was having some serious withdrawal symptoms; shakes, chills, answering the wife's requests to do work around the house with "Nein", calling "Medic" when I hit my thumb with the hammer (after being overpowered by the wife), and shouting "Fire in the hole" while sitting on the pot. It wasn't a pretty picture.

A few hours last night, and I feel like a new man.

Is losing the Punkbuster stuff going to be a big problem? Just curious. It will be nice to have the new maps and to be able to use the 1.33 servers, but I'm wondering how many of them will require Punkbuster in order to work? Any thoughts?

I'll get the new maps tonight once I'm home from work. Looking forward to some new ground to cover. If you see me around, my player name is Lazarus with a red "L". I'm always happy to hear from other Mac players.

I think PunkBuster is still enabled...it just doesn't show the option to turn it on/off or filter servers by it anymore.

I think the ID servers require PunkBuster, and I was on ID's MP_BASE all night.

Now really, did you honestly think I'd try to give you guys a trojan? Honestly. =D

Down to more serious matters, Mattman has noticed a very important issue with this hack, and thus, my instructions page has been altered. This "update", if you will, fixes incompatabilities with OSP Servers, as well as PunkBuster issues.

If you have already installed the hack, I have provided detailed instructions on how to update the hack. If you are a first time user, then you simply need to read the entire thing.

This is brilliant news. Ive tested it and it works great!

I might email aspyr - they would already know, but it could encourage them to do a simple fix (ie stuffing the one file).

I have already emailed Aspyr. Chimp, if you'd like, I can forward you their response. The gist of it is they are well aware of the work around, and that they cannot risk their relationship with id. If you'd like to read more, just let me know.

I'd like that mail forwarded, I tried to contact them and all they could tell me was that they would look into it and that there were plenty of 1.32 servers out there for me...
