I just downloaded the new 65 MB version 5.54 of X-Plane. Though when I open it everything is just black, no startup screen of the game or anything it used to do. I didn't know if this was becasue of OS X, so I reinstalled OS 9, so all the updates that OS X gives to OS 9 is gone, but it still does the same thing. OpenGL 1.1.5 is installed, and the ATI Drivers are the current drivers. I have an iBook SE (Non-Firewire). Any questions?

Have you tried assigning the "Sim" more RAM or increasing virtural memory? I believe there is a recent upadater to X-plane as well.
