Awwwwww sweeeeeeeeeet!

Omni's Porting These Games

I'm particularly interested in Freedom Force and the ol' classic Fallout!

But I'm also particularly interested in the other two titles.

I was wondering who was going to port Fallout.

Gotta admit, I'm looking forward to SoF2. Looks quite sweet on my friends' PCs.

Does anybody have an idea what the system requirements of SoF 2 on the pc side are like - compared to RTCW or MOH for example?

Anyway, I think Omni is doing a good job currently. Both Fallout and Incoming seem to be done and I look forward to get my hands on them.

I also look forward to Freedom Forces, since I don't know it yet and the screenshots look terrific. If I look forward to SoF 2 or not depends on the requirements

Monkey Island 4 runs amazingly well in classic. There is no reason to carbonize it IMO, so that is why no one has as yet.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

I'm gonna go try it right away. I didn't finish the game because Mac OS X came out and I didn't feel like going back to OS 9.

No it doesn't!!! Think I haven't tried that? EfMI will launch and then crash once I get that first menu up. I don't rate that as "amazingly well"

I personally want to get Fallout and SOF2.

I don't run games in Classic. I plan eradicating Classic as soon as 10.2 is here.

Even the translucency and fading of the volume icons works within Monkey Island 4. That is more impressive than in, well, all other classic games.

I am not certain what could be the problem here. I haven't played it since I was running OS 10.1.3 with OS 9.2.1 as classic. Maybe your carbon lib isn't up to date or something

It did have some problems switching CDs, but it all worked out in the end.

My computer is now as updated as it can be and MI 4 still exits on startup. Here's what happens:
I launch EfMI
Classic starts
EfMI starts
I get to see that Aspyr intro
I find out Westlake did the port
I'm back at my desktop at a 640x480 resolution and Classic has quit

Hmm, seems like a big demand for MI 4, what say Jon, how about looking into a 6th?
