Cool.

I love multiplayer online gaming, and spend a lot of time in RtCW and UT and even Descent. I have high hopes for 'Incoming' and despair over Halo.

But sometimes I'd like to actually play with a big bunch my colleagues and our students, without giving them excessive boot camps and training periods to playing FPS etc.

Bolo is one of the very few cool, simple to pick up multi- player games, albeit not perhaps all that glitzy. I really hope some developers would focus on this area - games that can be played on G3 iBooks over WLAN, with no need for a Radeon 8500 or fifteen- finger input techniques.

That's why classics still reign over the latest crop (or crap) of 3D games. I always find myself going back to the ol' NES or SNES emulator or the ol' ScummVM to play some LucasArts adventure games after playing a few FPS games.

More 2D games!!! 2D games forevah! I'm glad Fallout is being ported to X...I'm gonna buy this classic for sure.

Cool! Missing chat, and it could use GameRanger support, but it looks exactly the same

Be nice if you could also up the viewable area, as that tiny window is a bit small for today's computers.

Don't mean to sound negative, it is indeed nice to see (though I do hope the author contacted Stuart Cheshire before doing it), but the nuances that make Bolo special aren't there yet. There are some missing features, too, but this will all change in time, I hope.

Glad to see a classic like this in OS X. It would be nice to have a larger viewable screen, but that would probably mean a bit of a code re-write. Hope to see lots of progress on this game!

Not sure what that's supposed to mean, since at this point I can only see bugs being fixed (such as the ones you listed) and chat being re-implemented.
