After not having played it in a while, I wanted to play starcraft with my brother.
However, it wouldn't let me play brood wars, even though each of us had a cd in, one starcraft, the other brood wars.

So my question, with me owning those 2 cds, is there any way to make it so that we can play brood wars on 2 or more comps?

Thx,
Scott

no, you can't. unless you burn the broodwar cd and get a differnt cd key for sc. ive heard that on the pc you can take out the broodwar cd after starting the game. perhaps that works with mac as well. but you still need another sc cd or at least another cd key. if someone you know has sc too, you could ask him, if he gave your his cd key if you promiss that you wan't go to the battle.net with it.

Yes you can do it. Just install Starcraft on both machines. As long as you don't plan on playing on Battle.net with both of them at the same time, it doesn't matter if you use the same cd.

Then make a copy of Brood War and install it on both machines. Brood War won't check to see if the Starcraft installs are the same, never even asks for a code.

So as long as you're not on Battle.net at the same time, the two machines should be able to play with each other just fine.

This is how I play Starcraft with my brother. As long as its on a LAN and not battle.net, you will be fine.
