I read somewhere that if u copy the files on the Q3A disc for the PC onto your mac hard disk and just download the mac update it would render the game playable on the mac.. Does anyone know how to do this ? Considerig it is impossible to find a mac version Of Q3A anymore (it is discountinued)..

pak0.pk3 needs to be copied from the PC disc and put into baseq3. Or you can copy the baseq3 from the PC disc and overwrite the on thats on your HD already.

1. Run the 1.29f installer. Get it here if you haven't already.

2. Copy the pak0.pk3 and q3config.cfg or whatever *.cfg files are in the baseq3 directory on the CD into the directory on your HD.

3. The CD Key from the Windows disc works fine, too.

4. There is no step 4.
