Today I bought Myst III.
I installed it, and began playing, then saved the game.

Now it crashes my Mac. Every time.
I have removed it, reinstalled it, installed it with only Mac OS 9.1 extensions enabled, and all it does is crash.

System:
Macintosh G4 Dual 500mhz
256 MB RAM
40 GB HD
Rage 128 Pro

What about the preferences file, did you try erasing that as well?

I have disabled file sharing and virtual memory.
Plus increased Myst's memory partition to 80 MB.

Now it's working flawlessly, but I'm stuck on an island!
