Quake III FPS?

How can I enable the FPS display on Quake III. I thought it used to be an option on the older version or am I just missing somehting. I'm using Version 1.30

And where do I do this at? I tried in the console but nothing happened. It just kept displaying the text in the game.

cd to the OmniWeb.app/contents/resources/
cp the new .tiff and .icns in this directory,
restart OW.

ok

open term
type cd
press space bar
drag your OW icon in the Terminal window
enter
type cd /contents/resources
enter
cp
press space bar
drag the new .tiff splash in the term window
enter

do the same thing with the .icns
