is it me or is the frame rate crap
i have a g4 400 with rage 128 (standard .... yeah yeah yeah you can stop laughing now! ;-) ) with megga amounts of ram (640MB to be preciese) ive just updated the openGL thinie to the latest off the apple site
but i still get very juddrey frame rates even at 640x480 setting!!!! (this is in the holodeck game)
i keep getting fragged cos the image just looses frames all the time!
what are my best settings? is there anything i can do immediately to improve the performace? (of course i could get a new card ... but i aint doing that yet! ;-) ) how can i tweek my system / elite force settings to get the vid performance up?
any help would be greatfully recieved
