Well I've won Baldurs gate 1 and 2, but I realy think that the plot on Baldurs Gate 2 was realy crap!!! To chase some nobody wizard trough hell (littarlly) and back is the worst plot ever!!!
What do you think??

I have to disagree.
I thought Baldurs Gate II was awesome. Its by far the best rpg to date - I loved the npc character interaction, and the ability to choose multiple paths with different stories and ways of completing each quest based on your alignment.
The section in hell was about the protagonist's battle to regain his own soul - it becomes particularly interesting if you choose the evil path in my opinion.
Perhaps Irenicus could have been better defined in that you dont get that much interaction with him through the game, but I dont know, I really enjoyed BG2. Perhaps the best game of all time.
I wish theyd port Throne of Baal, the expansion to mac.
Im currently playing Icewinf dale - its great, but not as good as BG2. Cant wait for macplay to release neverwinter nights though - that looks great.

I think any central story in BG is crap, I don't want to have a story and I hate imoen. I want to go off and do what I want to do with my characters in a rich world. That said I can't wait for NWN.

Thats a valid point. I felt that bg2 was a little more tied to the overall plot than bg 1 was.
Neverwinter will rock because of the toolset.
Im looking forward to Freedom Force as well...
