Anyone know how to get rid of the fog that obscures the console in return to castle wolfenstein?

No, but it's not too bad if you play at 640x480

Which machine are you using?

Out of interest (maybe relevant) I installed rtcw on both my new g4 imac and my indigo ibook.

On the imac i didnt have the fog issue but on the ibook i did! (and couldnt get rid of it).

Now I reckon its one of two things. Wither the latest patches fix the problem, or, the ati rage 128 video card in the ibook canna handle it captain, whereas the gforce 2 mx in the imac can?

Could this be relevant? Please let me know which machine you are running. If you are using some type of ati card, i noticed that there are specific drivers on the rtcw disk itself (look like radeon drivers but from memory they work for 128 as well), and maybe they will help.

I know what you mean though. On my ibook you cant even read the text in the console, and therefore cant enter any commands.
MacBook Alu, 13", 2.4Ghz, 4GB RAM, 256MB video
G5 Imac, 17", 1.9Ghz, 1.5GB RAM, 128MB video, built in isight, airport and bluetooth
Indigo iBook, 366mhz; 320MB RAM; CD; FW; Airport
