Doesn't anyone find it odd that neither bungie.com or oni.bungie.com have any mention of the demo coming out? You'd think they'd be hyping it like maniacs considering how good it is...

Well, you have to consider for the fact that every single Oni demo server is lagged up the wazoo, so I think they are letting the first wave of downloaders who are more informed download. Then they announce Oni and the rest of the people download from the servers... very clogged, I can hardly get 1k/s from the servers at times...
