I have an Apple Studio Display 17" (bondi blue) with a Voodoo 5 5500 PCI and an old Apple 15" display hooked up to my stock Rage 128...

Even though my Voodoo'd display (the 17") is set as the main monitor, Warcraft III uses the smaller monitor with the slower video card... I can't switch to the other monitor, "Switch Monitor" in the prefs doesn't work.

Are you in X or 9?

If you're in X i'm not surprised since (A) X doesn't support any of the voodoo cards and (B) X isn't really friendly towards PCI vidcards as the main monitor.

If you're in 9, I have no idea. Good luck.

About WC3 early and all... Yeah I have it... yeah I'll try it a bit... but no I will not play it nearly enough to rip them off. I played it for about 30 minutes yesterday and I prolly won't play it for another week or so.

I just wanted to experience the latest Blizzard stuffs

can you tell me if you can play in a window, or do you have to play full screen. I would love to play in a window as I'm always doing one thing or another all at the same time...

Also, would someone post:
a: A screenshot of the CD icon and dock icon...
b: a few random OSX specific icons...

that would be wonderful

cheers

I'm running a dual 450 with a Radeon 8500 and have two monitors hooked up to it. When I'm done playing and quit the game, only the active monitor that the game was on comes back. If I launch wolfenstein and then quit, I get me secone monitor back.

Also, If the screen/computer goes to sleep, When it wakes all i get is a blank, slightly blue screen and I need to reboot.

Anyone else having these problems?

Oh by the way, I'm tunning 10.1.5 and is there anyway to make window mode the default?

Well now I can't even get Warcraft 3 to run. I get an error saying "An error occurred initializing OpenGL".. I tried restarting but that didn't work.

I'm running OS9.1.

To get to window mode I just command-tabbed. The window went to my Voodoo 5 monitor (main monitor) and the graphics were glitched and the computer immediately froze. I guess Warcraft III just doesn't like Voodoos.
