Hey guys (and gals) - Team Arena shipped for the PC, does anyone know about the Mac version? There was talk that we were supposed to use the PC distribution and then download some kind of binary.

Any news or some links to where news can be found?

Pretty simple.

You download the 1.27g update, avaliable from your favorite game file mirror (fileplanet, macgamefiles, versiontracker's link, direct from id software, whatever) and install it. Then create a folder called missionpack in your quake3 folder and copy the pk0.pk3 file from the PC Team Arena CD to the missionpack folder. I think that's it.

Done - works perfectly. I'm running a Gigabit G4 400 w/ 448 MB RAM. The game is beautiful with the new terrains. It'll be better when they release the final version of the binary without all the debug code in it.
