Well, just bought Rune... great game! IMMERSIVE!

BUT, I have a problem...
I'm on a dual 450 with a Radeon and I have to run it in 640x480 (32-bit, medium- and low-quality graphic settings) to keep it from getting choppy! I believe it's because I only have 128MB of RAM, but is there SOME WAY i can crank it up to at least 800x600? I mean, shouldn't I be able to use 1024x768 with 32-bit color and high quality everything?!

Any ideas? I'm not desperate; running in 640x480 doesn't really impair the game, I would think. Still a great game.
Be happy.

buy more physical RAM...rune needs about 180mb...or, if you don't want to buy more RAM increase your virtual memory to...let's say 250 mb...and give Rune 190mb...now it should work fine.

i've got an iMac Rev.A 233Mhz with a Voodoo2 and 160mb RAM and it runs nice on 640*480 screen res.

Actually, I fixed the problem pretty easily...

By default, Rune had 190MB total memory allocated to it. I upped my VM to 256 and allocated 230 to Rune, and now I can go 1280x1024, 32-bit, high quality everything, without any choppiness. Seems strange that 40MB of VM would make that much of a difference!

Rune is a great game! EVERYONE SHOULD BUY IT!
