This is reallly driving me nuts! More than half the time I try to play UT, I get no sound!!! I cannot seem to relate to anything else I am doing. I have the latest version (436). Am I doing something wrong???

I'm on a Pismo 400 MHz, factory except for a tweaked cache and an extra 128 MB RAM (192 total). Sound works fine before and after I'm in the program, but I get nothing when I'm in it.

Something suggests that maybe I'm screwing up somehow: Before I got the program, I had the demo, which also had the same problem. I have since trashed it. I don't know - I can't figure out what (if anything) I'm doing to provoke this behavior. I have tried trashing the prefs file and giving more RAM - neither has worked.

Don't know, man. I guess you could try trashing the prefs and completely reinstalling it. . .but I'm guessing you already tried that. Another thing is you might want to make sure you have all of your gamesprockets up to date. Other than that, I'm out of input. GL.
