Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, let there be an update to add InputSprocket support to Oni.

The keyboard controls frankly suck. The game would be much better if I could use my iShock gamepad. I can honestly say I will not purchase the game until ImputSprocket support is added.

...and I thought I was the only one who felt that way. Is it just like that in the demo or is the full-version castrated as well?

I'm assuming the full version is as well.

This is based on the assuption that pypically the demo and comercial releases of game software have the same engine, but the demo only has a few of the level and cut scene data files.

Bungie released an update to Marathon Infinity (to v1.5 I think) that added support for Game Sprockets. I hope they do something similar for Oni.

There is a program called usb overdrive that you may like to check out.
I haven't tried it but it is supposed to be able to map any input device to key inputs.

Just like the good old days on the C64

Oni is a cool gaem. great graphics story and combat. But I agree that its somewhat castrated because of the controls. I love my iShock and would desperately love to play the game with the controller instead. Even without this though, its still a hella game. Keep making'em and I'l keep buying them.

Inanimate objects can't be gay, Ca$h.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Oni released by GODGames? I thought Bungie released control of it when they were purchased by MS...and, if GOD was indeed responsible for it, then they aren't any longer because they're DEAD, which would place the responsibility directly in Take Two Interactive's court.

Now, with all this switching and whatnot, I wouldn't be expecting an improvement any time soon.
