Sounds like a good set-up. Check for conflicts in extensions and make sure you have all the updated inputsprockets, gamesprockets, drivers, extensions, latest game version (436) etc. Then try only use a mere minimum of extensions. You should be able to get it running.

That very well could be your problem. I have no idea how to uninstall it though. I haven't gotten it yet, and since my AGP was fine before, I probably won't be getting it.

Didn't Apple just recently PULL an early version of this update from their Software Updates site? You might want to check into this. I believe the AGP update was the one mentioned on the Mac news sites recently as having issues (ie: working/not working) and this may be what's causing issues on your machine.

Check out the feedback and note the fact that the update links on the following Maccentral news article for the AGP update don't even work anymore...

SpeedRacer is right. Apple has pulled AGP Update 1.0 (check the news at MacNN), and I don't think you're going to get much help in removing it because Apple is apparently not acknowledging that it was ever released. I'd hope for a new AGP Update soon to fix it or possibly fix it by upgrading to OS 9.1 when it's released next week.

I'm also experiancing freezing similar to Jsnuff1.

It seems like the higher the graphics, the faster it freezes, and the lower the graphics the longer it takes to freeze. I've tried a LOT of things, but nothings worked....

pleeeease help,

my system is quite a bit different then Jsnuff's, i have a Rev A imac 233, imac Voodoo 2, 160mb of ram (i've tried with VM on, off, and ram doubler).

thanks
