This is really getting old...the PC version has been out for some time now and they keep on delaying the mac version becasue of kernel panics under MacOS X. Howevever, some time ago they commented that their MacOS 9 version was rock solid. Why not just release an OS9 version and then post an OS X update?

annoying isn't it. Especially since it already came out for Windows. They might be doing a combo CD for the OS 9 and X versions. Hey, if you didn't know, you might still be able to preorder Myth III from Outpost.com for $30. DealNN posted it last week.

What the F**K are you talking about?!?!
Apple doesn't have shit to do with it, the company is having more sever bugs then they anticipated. Live with it. Would you rather they release a shitty OS X version instead? The game has been slated to ship for X for a long time, they are not going to not ship it because of a few bugs, they are going to delay for a few weeks THEN release it. This is NOT uncommon in the video game industry.

I'm only saying this beacsue they claim to have a solid os( version, its only buggy on osX. What I sguggest is that they atleast release a demo like they have for PC or just realease an os9 version until osx support comes in. I'm sure Apple is pushing them to wait until osX version is solid. thasall.

first off, sorry for being so rude I had a VERY bad morning. had to walk across campus in the cold and rain only to find my class was canceled.
Since they are software developers I assume they are doing some major no-no in the games code that is crashing it. BTW where did you hear that? It costs ALOT more to ship a 9 version THEN a week or two later (before it can even hit shelves) start making the 9/X version. So its' worth it to just wait.
Again Apple probably doesn't care since they already are producing the OS X version, side from that Apple can't stop them from NOT shipping it either. It's out of their control.
I do with they would release a demo, there has been a major lack of mac demos in the past year which I truly hate. Not knowing if a game is worth it until AFTER you pay for it sucks.

ow, iBook? Shit man, I'm sorry, but I have a feeling your in for a big disappointment. I recall the min system specs being 400 G4 and 16meg video card. Or it could end up being like Giants.

don't know much about the video card on the ibook, but my friend played Myth III on his Windows laptop and it works & looks fine. I think it might have been a 8 MB card too. The only lame thing is that the cursor kept skipping. It didn't do that on his desktop though.
Your CPU can definitely handle it. Your vid-card? well, just don't expect the high end graphic settings (I know you already know that). Still, even at the lowest settings, it still looked a step better than Myth II.

I hope your not talking to me
I know I only have a lowly Rage 128 16meg but it's gobbled up everything in high res that I have thrown at it so far
