i just reinstalled elite force on my imac inorder to play the expansion when i finally recieve it, and when i loaded the game, the everything was freaky, i couldnt read a damn thing on the lcars menu. has anyone had a problem running elite force in 9.2.1 with their gamewizard? i have both the microconversions and the 3dfx beta5 drivers, and even my old .var file to adjust the gamma, but its still weird...

i just want to know if its 9.2.1, or something else. i guess i can always add 9.0.4 again.

thanks

There's someone in my head but its not me...

My friend is exactly the same situation - waiting for Elite Force expansion pack to play on his iMac and gamewizard. I'll ask him if he has any probs.

Install an older version of opengl (such as the one found on the Elite Force cd).

Intsall the older version of OpenGLEngine (1.2.1). The one that comes with 9.2.1 screws up the voodoo display of the gamewizard.

Just download the OpenGL 1.2.1 from apple.com/opengl, and use TomeViewer(look on macfixit.com for it) to extract the file from the OpenGL Tome archive.

This should fix your problem (fixed mine )
