I was reading about this new Dragon's Lair 3D in development right now and i got all nostalgic for the arcade version of Dragon's Lair. Does anyone know of a fairly uncomplicated way of getting it up and running on a mac (a commercial version, emulation, etc.)? I played it once on Sega CD I think... any ideas?
thanks,
dave g.

This was a CD game in the arcade and didn't run on any architecture MAME supports. I think it runs on the Neo Geo engine. Is there an emulator for Neo Geo?

Okay, it's not Neo Geo, it was Laserdisc, not CD, and MAME does support Neo Geo.
There is an emulator for PC and Linux here. I think you actually need the actual laserdisc and an interface between your PC and an LD player. You might be able to find info on the website linked above, but it looks like it's really not an easy thing to do.

The original Dragons Lair and Time Warp is playable on dvd. Those two and the upcomeing 3d is going to be avaliable on PSX2. 3d is said to be available on all paltforms when released.

There is a Mac version of Dragon's Lair. I can't tell you where to find it, as it is old and it is crappy. I'm not even sure where my copy is, but I had both it and a related game, Space Ace, for the Macintosh.
