Can't get in. I can use all the other cheats. I type "thedayismine" and nothing happens. Hitting the "`" doesn't do a thing.

Can someone give me a step by step on this?

I don't know - it's the only one I've seen. I'd like to have it so I can unlock the doors and explore some of the levels.

check out http://oni.bungie.org/res/tricks.html#shatter_levels... it's not exactly unlocking doors, but it'll still let you explore the levels.

Did some checking, and developer mode was disabled after beta 4. Oh well.

They had a multi-player mode, which seriously would have rocked, but I'm not sure what else.

I've also heard that they seriously truncated the story line and axed as many as 20 levels.

I have seen the betas(not only b4 which was spread in hotline) there were no extra 20 levels and there was no multiplayer game.
developer mode was only for the developing period so they disabled it on the release.

Hrrm... Well, my dream for oni, would havta be, a released Multiplayer Patch, something akin to the Deus Ex Multiplayer patch.
We should all write oni, and show them that people would be interested!
Oni woulda kicked a LOT more ass had it had mutliplayer
----
From what i gathered from the oni website (oni.bungie.com ?)
They originally had "Multiplayer Arena" screenshots, so i believe there must've been some form of Multi-player somewhere down the line My guess is they abandoned it, because they'd already pushed the release date back so far.

Back on the topic of developer mode, I know it worked in b4 and b5, but, you HAD to have passed ALL of the levels...
http://www.3dactionplanet.com/oni/info/cheats.shtml has a copy of the persist.dat file, with the whole game passed. This is also handy if you cant pass a particular section of the game, you can just skip to the next save point....

But, install the persist.dat you downloaded, and then the cheats should work.

Good luck,
Praetorian
