What is up with my Rocket Arena 3?

Hi,

I have downloaded Rocket Arena 3 for my Mac. it all seems to work okay (as in it loads up, I can see servers etc) but when I pick a server it starts to connect (awaiting challenge, awaiting gamestate etc) then it just jumps straight back to the main Quake 3 Arena screen.

Is this because it is a private arena or what. Any ideas?

Also, anyone now where i can download the Fortress mod?
