The Asypr site says that RtCW on a Mac requires Radeon, GeForce 2 or later and the only iMac supported are the flat panel ones (2002 models.)
The PC retail box says it supports 16mb cards like Rage 128 and Rage 128 Pro.
Some of you guys said that you're running the beta version on a 8mb rage 128. . . maybe the programmers upped the requirements. . . if so alot of iMac CRT gamers are out of luck.

The requirements are just whats recommended for best game play. I play the full version (beta 3) on my iBook with 8 MB of video RAM. Of course its 10x better playing it on my G4 733 with 32 MB of video RAM.

The betas ran fine on my dual 450 w/Rage 128. I assume the final will perform on par if not better then the beta.

Does anyone know when it will actually be in the stores?

Beta 3 runs OK on the iBook. I haven't tried it on the G4/533/rage128 yet, But I'd imagine it'll run Ok if you turn the settings down a bit.

Just set (in the console) "r_vertexlight" to 0, "r_colorbits" to 16, "r_texturebits" to 16, "r_depthbits" to 16, "r_dynamiclight" to 0, and "cg_brasstime" to 0.

Things should speed up considerably.
