I used to play UT all the time, but now it will no longer load. The program begins to boot up, and then freezes when "Opening Package Core" comes up. I have tried to:

Reinstall w/ extensions off
Run w/ MAcos9.1 base + UT extensions
Zap PRAM
Rebuild desktop
Run off Disk Image & Actual CD
Disabled M$ Intellimouse control panel

Currently using iMacDVSE400 w/ 384M ram, apple pro usb keyboard, MS intellimouse, iSub. I have 220000 megs ram allocated to UT.

I miss playing UT! Does anyone have ideas?

Have you tried a normal install and a full install?

i had the exact same problem, it fixed when i updated to v436

i have tried (unsuccessfully) to run UT w/ both the full install and normal install. I dont understand how it could possibly be locking up on me so consistently....especially with a "bare bones" extensions set. Last night I tried running Rune and Quake III - and they both froze too..

Maybe something could be worng with my RAGE128?
