trying to run Command and Conquer on 9.1

but when I start it I get the following error:

"...C&C could not open... DrawSprocketLib-DSpHideScreenItems" could not be found... you may need to install a newer version"

I've installed every sprocket I could find using version tracker then Apples game developers website... but no luck

Westwood says there are no updates for the game but version tracker says there is... but the link doesn't really work ( I get 1k of data and it dies)

anybody have ideas?

I seem to recall that Command and Conquer requires an older version of the Game Sprockets in order to properly run. I think this might have been discussed in here before, so if you run a search for 'command and conquer' or a related term you might be able to kick up an answer as to which version of Game Sprockets you require.

I just tryed to open it up ( haven't played it much scine I got off of my Performa 6116 CD) and I got the same massage. and then I looked at what I had just installed and it didn't seem to be any extesion so I opened up and took out the inputsprocket from the CC Cd and put it into my extesions, I then tryed to reinstall it by just reinstalling it not trashing any files, I then tryed to open it back up and wham I got the EVA loading and I played the first level, damn its fast on my dual 500.
try it and see what happens, it might be a rare fluck thing that happend

When playing older games which require older versions of GameSprockets, you should put the Sprocket files in the same folder as the app. This way, you can have the latest GameSprockets in your Extensions folder for the majority of your other games.
Applications usually look for Libraries in the local folder before they look in the Extensions folder.
