USB overdrive wont recognize iShock

I installed usb overdrive 10.0.0b4, plugged in my iShock, restarted and then no workie. The application won't let me select "Joystick" from the menu on the left. Is it just that this app is designed with mice in mind or does my iShock not work? (yes it works on os 9)

TheUSb overdrive that you downloaded is a beta. There's no full version for OS X yet. The beta as of now only supports mice.

If you need a app to use your iShock though I would reccomend this; http://www.carvware.com/gamepadcompanion.html
