I'm looking at getting a second hand (lack of $$) TiBook or 2000 iBook (I need the portability and to save space) to replace my Rev C iMac.
My Question is are either of these descent/tolerable gaming machines, i.e. "Okay" to "Good" gaming machines?
P.S
I'm borrowing an indigio iMac (350Mhz) with a whole lot of ram and this suits me fine for gaming.
PPS Can I use a standard PC 133Mhz Ram in the current Ti & iBooks?

you can put Pc 133 ram in the Ti Book but it will only run at 100Mhz, its backwards compatable just like adding a ATA100 Hd in to your G4 which is only running at 66mhz in stead of the 100 that the dirve could be running at. I'd would buy the PC 133 in case you want to keep the ram and put it in a newer G4 or anything that will take it. LOL

I know PC133 Ram is backwards compatible (this is why I bought the Ram, as I'm getting a tower this fall; I'm getting an/a i/Ti Book now because I'm going to Australia on work experience this summer, and will need to use a computer while Im out there), but is it bacwards compatible enough (PC 133Mhz) to work with the iBooks 66Mhz motherboard + is the form factor a problem (the stick I wish to use is curently inserted in an Indigo iMac).
P.S LOL??? FRO!!!

I have a Ti 500MHz and UT runs 30-40 fps in 16 bit, 25 fps in 32 - very acceptable especially for a laptop with 8MB of VRAM

Just out of interest, where were you intending to find a second-hand TiBook?
