Which one would you guys say is better, X-Plane or FlyII? I'm about to start flight training so I'd like to know which one would be a better choice in terms of realism (and graphics - can't escape the hard-core gamer in me!).
Thanks.

(sorry, really couldn't resist).
Seriously, tho, check MacGamer -- they mentioned this morning that X-Plane is about to get certified for actual airline training.

Life is like a clay pigeon -- sooner or later, someone is going to shoot you down and even if they miss you'll still wind up shattered and broken in the end.

Blizzard, I have logged some flight hours in a cessna and would have to say that they are both pretty close as far as realism goes. I like X-Plane better because you can see out of the flight deck better than you can in Fly 2. Overall they are both great games, provided you have a high end video card to run them..

My father has flight training too, and is looking for a good flight sim to play in X. What controlers are compatible with X, ie joysticks, etc... Just wondering. I'm sure his new DP 1Ghz can handle the games..
