hi,

Im getting an error type 2 in UT that is driving me crazy. The game will unexpectedly quit with an error of type 2 within 10 seconds of warping into a game/level. The odd thing is it happens in both UT and normal Unreal. I suspect the Voodoo3 drivers are causing it, but so far havn't found a version that fix the problem (if they are really the cause in the first place.) Carmageddon 2 3dfx works fine btw. The odd thing is the game very rarely quits before I get into the level, but it sometimes will, even as soon as the initial flyby movie. System Config is as follows

PM 8500 G3 275 OC'ed to 350 (over a year now all is fine - I used to be able to play normal unreal for hours at a time (with my v2 tho))
XLR8 USB PCI card
Turbomax ATA33 w/ Maxtor DM 30.7gb hd
Voodoo3 2000
2gb stock scsi hd.

I've given the app lots of ram but it still quits. I suspect the Voodoo drivers because the problem doesnt seem to be limited to just UT. Could it also be caused by the USB Adapter card support 1.4.1?? I've tried the original v3 drivers, b11, b12.

Any help would be appreciated.

Address error... HD corruption?
Run Disk First Aid and see what it comes up with...
With an overclocked G3 card, USB card, ATA card, VooDoo 3 its no wonder there are problems...
Peripherals never seem to play nice with each other.
Remove each one and its drivers, try UT, then put one back on the chain, try again, and see if its a certain peripheral...
Oh yeah, make sure you have the latest drivers for all those devices...
