My handle is 'Target' ... damn pings ... ;-)

Playing the 3.15(?) mod, not the retail - not sure if it's going to be shipped over to Western Australia, and I'm not sure if I can be bothered getting it shipped. Are the extra maps worth it?

Also, I've found the game to be much harder in it's final release. The AI seem to have become crack shots, no matter what skill level I set the practice sessions to.

The bots are MUCH better, imo, even at the lowest level. I haven't tried anything higher than novice. I think that extra maps are worth it if you want to play online. The new maps seem to be in the cycle the most and are truly amazing to look at.

One of my PC friends loaded AOT and says he is never going back to Counter Strike!

WOW is it that good. How much better is it than 2.20 or what ever the version was before this one?

I will be honest, you will have to relearn alot of the game but it kicks ass over 2.2.0! The graphics are awesome and the gameplay is very fast.

Hey Xyber, I've submitted an application for mTo but haven't heard anything back. Have I been rejected?

Do you play AOT in X?

Anyway, I have been perusing the clanmto forums and found them to be very helpful installing 3.1.5.

Thanks!

I play in 9. I guess that mTo has a lot of applications. I too have applied and have gotten no response. Maybe I'll start a new clan .

I used to like the mod, then I realized it's almost all luck, you can just hold down the fire button and kill people- skill has no bearing.

Plus the name (assault on terror? who the **** thought of that!)

Yeah, I've found AOT to be alot trickier than 2.2. I was at the point of being #1 or #2 on quite a few maps, and now with AOT I'm back at the bottom again. Oh, well. I had to practice a ton on 2.2 to get where I was, and now I must practice AOT!

Yes, name is kinda lame, but the name doesn't make the game.

Hi, [mTo]Pop here...

Just noticed this forum from [osX]Xyber's posts on mTo forums, so I thought Id drop by.

A bit gutted to hear lots of people applying for mTo membership and not getting any reply, we are always recruiting, but are always busy with real life stuff too.

Try sending the forms again, because we may have had problems with the mail server.

But yes, TO:AoT 3.1.5 is v. good, it feels like a proper game now, even tho its still free

See you in game.... Pop

i use the name pizza.delivery.man when i shoot people up on the all-rapids servers. i usually run tac ops 2.2 since i don't like the textures and skins in 3.15... i find it too difficult to recognize who's on my team and who's trying to shoot me. i might reinstall the new version sometime though and have another go at it, especially if all the 2.2 servers go down.
