Everytime my daughter tries to play Nanosaur, it starts up only to quit "unexpectedly because of a Type 2 error code" which I Iooked up and found it refers to insufficient memory. So I went to the original application, to Get Info to increase the size from 7000k all the way up to 21000k and I still get the error code.
Any suggestions? I even turned Virtual Memory on and off (restarting each time) and I still get the error message. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

How much memory do you have? which iMac? running any other apps?

If it's a regular Bondi Mac that came with Nanosaur, I don't know why it should be wussing out due to memory... Apple designed Nanosaur/Bugdom to be demo apps and run on basic configs, so they shouldn't be demanding. (yeah, I know, should-could-would...)

Are there any other apps running? Running recently and maybe still hogging RAM? hard drive space/cache?

otherwise... ?

I had the same problem with Nanosaur and my iMacDV 400 with 256MB(!) of ram.I contacted the company and they said to me that it's an incompatibility with the new version of quick time.So if you have the version of nanosaur which came with your mac update to the latest version and the problem will vanish.
Strangely they are right.
Because I was having error type 2 ptoblems when I installed the newest version of Quick time.
