I'm using the latest build of Q3A(1.29, the last build) on a Ti PB with 9.1 and a Logitech Marble Mouse... well, not really. Quake doesn't respond to any input from the Logitech. In fact, it doesn't work with any USB input device I've tried (Kensington Orbit, Apple puck mouse). The trackpad works fine, but my already meager frag counts will dip even further if this my only control option. I have tried USB Overdrive instead of the Logitech drivers, but that doesn't seem to change anything.

The thing is, I'm using the EXACT same setup (OS,Q3A,Marble Mouse) on my B&W without a problem. Anyone?

I had the same prob with an iBook and my USB mouse. It'd listen to both while in the Finder and most other apps, but any app that'd take over everything (ie. Quake, UT) it wouldn't work.

Firstly, USB overdrive must be disabled, as must any drivers that came with the mouse.

I suggest deleting whatever came with it and using USB Overdrive - set up a profile in USB Overdrive so that it disables itself whenever Quake 3 is active.

For me it was a matter of using the trackpad to mess around with the device input control in Unreal Tournament - I think you'll find it the same with this problem. If Q3A has something along the same lines, that is, which it must...
