My friend has a powerbook and i have an iBook and we want to play Diablo 2 at the same time. Can we support the network gameplay between our two computers? We would like to try airport for the game play as well but first we are simply going to try TCP/IP ethernet cable connection. Is this possible..does the gameplay support just two players? Thanks for any info.

It is no problem connecting via TCP/IP. I have done this and have had no problems playing Diablo 2.

Yes, you can play just two players via TCP/IP as well.

If you want to connect the two computers together with just an ethernet cable to play a TCP/IP game make sure it is a crossover cable and not just a plain ethernet cable. If you just used a plain ethernet cable you would need a hub inbetween the computers.
