Hello all,

I have been looking around for game controllers (both joysticks and ganepads) and arrived at the conclusion that I already had the right controller (the one that came with my Nintendo 64.)

I have found two companies that make N64-->USB adapters:

Kernel Productions (makers of the the "JoyPort") http://www.gamedb.com

and

Wish Technologies (makers of "The Adaptoid") http://www.wishtech.com

I am tempted to go ahead and buy "The Adaptoid" but thought I would ask if anybody had it or had used it before. It isn't expensive but at the same time I would want something that works.

Thank you.

Personally, I would go with a third-party joystick because the Nintendo joysticks are a little bit basic for games (other than games designed for the Nintendo) now a days. I think there are a few good joysticks/gamepads from MacAlly and Logitech, but in my experrience, I find Microsoft joysticks to work the best/be the most durable.

Try www.versiontracker.com for USB Overdrive, a program that will let you configure basically any mouse or joystick's buttons.
