Will drivers ever be developed for the voodoo cards so they can be used in osx? Currently I'm using an iMac Gamewizard V2 and I had the slightest hope that 3dfx might make some drivers for osx, but now that 3dfx is no longer with us...

Do you think Omni would be willing to make some drivers? maybe the creaters of mesa will do something?

It IS possible, I suppose, but I think yer stretchin' it. Besides, unless a reputable publisher like Omni takes a crack at it, you'll most likely end up with lots of bugs and incompatibilities.

Well, 3dfx did post some Linux beta drivers for most of their cards, so this might of given us a better chance of getting our Voodoo's to play nice with X. Sadly, the site they posted them on isn't responding right now.

I'll post again later to see if they put it back up.

Also, the Voodoo 2 worked with OS X Server. This is a different animal, but maybe it would lead to an easy conversion for OS X.
