How can I squeze more FPS out of this game on my G4 400 sawtooth w/192 mb or RAM and the stock ATI card? Ive got all the settings on low, but in combat situations its almost unplayable. :-(

I know its based on the Q3 engine, could some quake tweaks be used to boost preformance on this game as well?

If there are any websites you know of to point me in the right direction, that would be great. If you have anything to offer...it would also be great.

Thanks!

Must be something up with your setup, I play EF on a similar setup, a G4 400 mystic, 832 megs of ram, stock ATI w/ 16 mb ram. I play with 32 bit color, texture settings set at high, etc. Most of the extra effects turned on. And I get great performance in single player, great in multiplayer, not so good when playing against the computer in holomatch. Besides that though I don't know the FPS exactly but it's never laggy ..

Elite Force runs fine on my new computer (which it should since it's a 733). But until about 2 weeks ago I was playing it on a imac dv 400 with 128mb of ram. My settings were at 800-600 32bit color and alot of the other stuff on. I was gettig pretty playable frames. It has to be your setup. Hope that helps.
