I just upgraded my TiBook (to the 800MHz model) and now RtCW crashes every time I load up the "Forest" map in single-player games. I presume it's got something to do with the new graphics processor on the TiBook. The game used to run just fine on my 667.

Any clues?

i'm seeing the same thing on the same level on my g4/450 dual with nvidia geforce2mx.

i don't think it's your hardware. we're too different.

i've tried deleting and having the game re-create the level, but no joy.

aspyr tech support isn't much help so far.

Have you tried turning down the graphical detail levels?

I'm having the same problem on my Quicksilver 733. The weird thing is that I've played the game through twice before without any problem. I was working my way through again, and now that I'm at the forrest level, I can't get it to load without crashing. One thing that has occured to me: I don't have the RTCW disk in the drive right now (recently moved and still have my software packed away). Have you guys tried loading the level with the CD in the drive? Just a thought.
