Does anyone have some suggestions for this level? It's INSANELY difficult. I can get down to the last 45 seconds every time, but then it all goes to hell.

Help!

On warcraftstrategy.com there is a walkthrough of the Undead campaign. Scroll to the bottom to see episode eight. It's short and terse. I tried it once and it helped--a little. Maybe you'll have better luck:

I was able to beat it on my 2nd try... but just barely. Until the last minute or so, build up insane defenses. Tons of Ziggurauts. Upgrade them all so that they can defend your base. Also have 2 acolytes near each group of ziggurauts, ready to start repairing them as soon as they get attacked (they can usually repair them in the middle of a battle without getting touched).

You then need 3 groups of units, one for each side. Make sure to hotkey them all to CTL 1, 2, and 3. (Hit 2 twice quickly to jump immediately to that group, screen and all).

As for units, I'd go for the spiders and the large ogre-like guys as far as melee is concerned. Spiders to web down their flying units and ogres to whack everything silly. Make sure you upgrade their attributes like crazy at the graveyard, too. You want them maxed out for the final minute of death. Also build a couple necromancers for each side. Make sure they have raise skeleton set to auto-cast.

This should hold you until the last 45 seconds. Once there is a minute or so left, move ALL of your acolytes into repairing positions and move ALL of your defending units much closer to the guy you have to protect. Then, pray that they don't get through your last lines of defense.

All you need to do is protect the dude that's summoning Mannoroth. Don't even try to minimize the damage to your army...just surround the summoner with tons of units that will take the hits. Earlier in that game, you can start building those defense towers to block the path towards the summoner. You can also use those explosive mines and place 'em strategically.

Trust me...that's not a very hard mission compared to some of the other missions later on.

I meant the final, final mission. The final Night Elf mission. BUT I have finished it, after five attempts. Easier than I expected. Here are some tips for those who have not done it yet:

1. Builds lots of Ancient protectors in first then human base, then the orc base. Build Ancient of War in each base as well.

2. Make sure both Stormrage and Tyrion are in each base. Stormrage to cast Treants (force of nature) and mass healing. Tyrion for starfall. Build only gryphons and warriors in each base.

3. Make sure you do all the upgrades.

4. The APs are a must. Build lots. They delay the onsalught and delays are the game, until the timer reaches 0.

I beat the damn undead level. I just build a LOT of spirit towers, and it took the humans just that much too long to get through them.
