I will try to start a new game or load a game and it will display the first cm of the bar but then it will freeze up. I have tried giving Oni memory out the wazoo but nothing works. Changing the cache size makes no difference. Ruby iMac DV 400 MHz 64 MB RAM virtual memory at like 500 MB.

I wonder if the only 64 MB and 500 Virtual have anything to do with it. Probably.

I have DVSE with128 MB ram and I have turned on virtual memory to meet the requirements in Oni and I have not had a problem. I think I would have to agree with what Oniman said.

I have deleted and re-installed about 5-10 times. I have ordered another 64 MB chip from user tcarlyle and am awaiting the coming. That should probably fix it.

I want Oni on my DV too! I don't want to blow $100 on 128 megs of ram! Help me please! What happened to games like Descent 3 that would run on 64 meg Macs. You people with big computers don't rub it in, please, I'm on a low spending diet!

I got my 64 MB of RAM from user tcarlyle for $33. I was quite a find. He had an iMac 350 and bought two extra chips for it and didn't need the original 64 megs, so he put it up for sale on the "buy and sell" forum.
