Rochester, NY -- July 17, 2002 -- Ambrosia Software, Inc. released today pop-pop, a unique fusion of pulse-quickening arcade game action and Internetworkable combat that's more addictive (and more colorful) than a handful of JellyBelly jellybeans. Pick your character, then enter the bright happy world of fierce brick-bashing combat, where your paddle is your weapon, and your pop-fu must be strong to survive.

If you're able to attend the MacWorld/NYC expo, stop by the Ambrosia booth #1714 for a free copy of pop-pop on CD, as well as some cool pop-pop trading cards. Or, you can grab it here now:

Excellent. I've been waiting for this one for a while, now.

My favorite thing to do when a new Ambrosia game comes out is to open it up and then repeatedly hit 'x' at the main menu screen and watch what happens. Heh heh heh...

Ahaha, everyone falls to my superior skillz!!!!!

I think I got a hang of this game quite quick. I barely played it and I'm already kicking some arse in the net games. My medichlorian count must be high or sumthin'.

Speaking of medichlorians...how come it was only mentioned in Star Wars Episode 1 and never again mentioned?

This is completely different than someone telling you to go buy AOL and they work for AOL. He's announcing the damn game that we've been waiting for, for 2 years. How else would you like us to know about this game? A user saying "hey.. don't get it.. but pop-pop is released.. but this isn't advertising.."

I am glad moki announced it here, especially for those of us that didn't hang all over the Macworld announcements.

Plus, it's moki... and moki gets special privileges.
