Hey everyone. I just got warcraft iii. I installed in and play it in os x. The first time I played (only single player so far) the right click worked. Then after that it stopped working, and I could never fix it since. I use the control left click now, since the right button just acts like a left click.
Not sure if it means anything, but a lot of the time the normal mac cursor appears over the game cursor during in game cutscenes (not the movies, yet) and the normal game on top of the normal war3 cursor. I have a logitech cordless optical.

Probably stating the obvious, but is the 'enable multi-button mouse' option checked in the game options? This one caught me off guard, but it was a relatively easy fix.
As for the normal cursor appearing over the game cursor...weird. Is there some background process maybe stealing control of the mouse? Are there any other programs running when you are playing the game?

About the cursor, you don't launch from the dock by any chance? And click and leave the mouse? I've found that if you move the mouse while the game launches you don't get this problem at all

One thing I noticed that pisses me off is that when I enable 'multi button support', my mouse speed is cut to about 1/10 of its speed. That means that instead of a flick of the wrist to move around the screen, I gotta drage the whole mouse around the desktop. A big pain in the ass... Any suggestions as to why? It does it in 9 and X.

Weird...can someone tell me if USBOverdrive has an option to adjust mouse speed on a per-app basis? That might fix 'er up. Otherwise...delete the prefs, maybe?

I had problems with the icon of the mouse also...
My graphic settings were to high... Bring them down and you should be fine.
