We'll be meeting with Nvidia Corporation this week during Macworld Expo San Francisco. If you have a question about Nvidia's Mac strategy, or specifically the GeForce2 MX shipping in the new "digital audio" Power Mac G4s, post it here and we'll try to get as many of them answered as possible.

How does the performance in the Nvidia card compare to the now-history 3dfx or ATI?
We still have the option of choosing the Radeon card at the Apple store. What advantages does the Nvidia card have?

Will the Nvidia cards be only BTO? I think I read the answer was yes, but I want to double check.

Will there be legacy Mac support? Or will those PCI-based G3s have to rely on ATI?

1) Will the biggest and baddest they have to offer come to the Mac with no cut-outs (like less Memory than the PC version has)
and
2) Will FSAA be offered now that most of the 3DFX people and stuff is under NVIDIA control?

When will the next Mac-compatible card come along? Also, are there plans to write Mac drivers for the new mobile GeForce?

Who is actually manufacturing the cards? If Apple, are there any plans to let other companies manufacture them, or for Apple to sell them retail?(this is for the MX and all future products)

I have the ATI Rage Pro in my G4 and will upgrade soon. I'm not familiar with Nvidia, as much as 3dfx or ATI. Besides games, I edit video and large photo files. Is the Nvidia card better than the Radeon?

Ah. Another intelligent comment that really adds to the discussion.
Not mentioned, of course, is the fact that the MX is the ONLY desktop video card that NVIDIA has that will actually support the Mac, and that they've already (more or less) committed to bringing their next-gen card along as well. That, of course, would be missing the point.
Sigh.
