Hello.
I can't see Escape from Monkey Island's movies (there are some after you successfully finish a level) using my Bondi Blue+3dfx Voodoo2 Game Wizard.
There is the problem in 16bit e 32bit mode.
The game runs great, but when the movie start I can listen to the movie's speech but the image remain on the game.
Any suggestion?
TIA,
candyman.

Had the same problem with my Beige G3 266 with Voodoo2. Quite simply, Monkey Island 4 isn't fully compatible with 3Dfx. There is no way to fix this (unless Westlake/Lucas Arts did something about it.)

Isn't it because the voodoo2 can't render 2d only 3d?

The Voodoo2 cannot render 2D, no...it needs to have a separate 2D display card in the system to do that. When not playing a 3D game, the video passes from the 2D card, through the 3dfx card, and then to the monitor.
That said, I don't know if that could be the problem...if the movie is a movie movie (and not an in-engine cutscene) then the 2D card should take over the rendering.

The fact is, Voodoo cards used to be 3D-only, but the drivers eventually allowed it to render 2D (albeit it wasn't really fast.)

Dude, chill...the Beige G3 had a Rage II+ built onto the motherboard...THAT's what was rendering the 2D, not the Voodoo card. The passthrough cable (remember that?) went from the Rage to the Voodoo to the monitor. It's true that Voodoo3 and up could do 2D, but not the Voodoo2. The PC also had a Voodoo1 based card called the Voodoo RUSH that could do limited 2D, but it..to put it kindly...sucked at it. And later driver releases supported both the Voodoo3 and the Voodoo2, so I can see where you got that messed up.
BUT
FINAL WORD
Voodoo1 and 2 can NOT, and could NEVER DO, 2D graphics. Not on the Mac, not on the PC, not anywhere. And before you tell me that I'm wrong cause your beige G3 did it...I had one of those little beasties too, with a Voodoo2 card in it.

Voodoo2 cards are called "pass thru" cards.
