Does anyone know any good sites to buy games for the Mac. I can not hardly find any games worth buying at the stores here.
I have an MacBook, 15" monitor, 1 GIG ram, 120 gig internal hard drive, 500 gig external hard drive, and an iMac with 40 gig internal hard drive with iSight web cam. Using Mac OS 10.5 Leopard

Depends on what type of games you like. If you like first person shooters, try Tactical Ops:Assault on Terror. It won't be in the Mac section of wherever you shop, right now it's PC only. But if you head over to the forums at www.clanmto.com, there are several explanations on how to install this game. Best is if you already have Unreal Tournament installed.

I find it very difficult to buy Mac games out here (South Australia is a long way from anywhere). I use http://www.themacsmith.com Stan is a great guy. When I order on line he always gets back to me with a person to person email and we discuss the order. For me the personal touch is a big selling point. I like to know there is a person responding to my order and not some machine spitting out automatic electronic replies.

When Stan was just an on-line business it was great but he has recently opened a store and he's flat out so some times he takes a day or so to reply. Pre store dates we would exchange email back and forth, almost like a chat line.

His sites not much to look at and its not always up to date but he's up to date with all the games and software and will quickly get in anything you want.

Give him a look.

If you have a compusa near you, they sell all the latest games. You can also buy them online. Just make sure you go to the Apple section of the site. You could also try http://www.insidemacgames.com/store/.
