I've noticed that the PC side has some problems with cheaters in RS (Vertigo?). How can we keep this from entering into the Mac side in Gameranger???

And also, are there any Mac oriented RS websites? I cant find MacOps anymore.

Thx...

I think that the server side should come with a feature to drop players with consistent lagging connections. Because that is what most of these cheat do cause a lag in sending the data to the server which in the case of Delta Force causes you to disappear for a 1 second. Which makes it frustrating when trying to keep an opponent away from your base with a sniper rifle.

I know this would suck for players with actual lagging connections but hey that's life!

Well J....actually this kind of cheat won't be much of a problem...
A host that sees that a player is lagging too much or winning all the time will realize that something is fishy and boot...
At least the Mac community doesnt put up with these things at all...
